Just re-read that one last month. So much love. Feeling the itch to pick up Neverwhere for the upteenth time as well.
Have you read "The Ocean at the End of the Lane?" Actually set my alarm clock for 3AM (midnight Pacific time) to make sure it was delivered to my Kindle. Amazing story, my new NG favorite.

Never where is amazing. Didn't feel American gods at all. Stardust is equally amazing. I haven't read anything else of his. His endless twittering about his every brain fart and bowel movement is extremely annoying.

I don't mind his own twitter, all the re-tweets bug me. lol. I've read every novel, and the first Kindle compliation of SandMan. Definitely give Ocean a shot, it's awesome.
Edit - Pretty quick read as well, especially for Gaiman. I finished it in 2 days working full time.

I loved Ocean. It was great. I'm not sure where it ranks, because I love all his stuff. Even the short stories.
Neverwhere is one of my faves. Did you hear the radio adaptation with Benedict Cumberbatch as the Angel Islington? Pantwettingly good.
I want them to do Anansi Boys next.
