I remember when they were filming that first movie, they were having a bitch of a time getting his hair right. We have an old guy that's a patient at our practice and every time he comes in, his hair is PERFECT Wolverine hair.
you might want to edit that....ruddo does NOT like to be called old
I wish it wasn't against the law for me to take his pic and post it here.

man, if they really are going with the Shi'ar and Lilandra... this really needs to be a 2 part movie. DoFP could have been a two parter (they shot like 5 hours of film or had enough scenes story boarded for 5 hours) Apocalypse should have been a 2 part movie to really build it up, but nope, one and done.
If I were writing this, id have had Apocalypse end with Apocalypse WINNING. Apocalypse part 2, the X-men win with Jean going full Phoenix, but also have the first teases of Lilandra. Mental contact with Charles, so on. and end that movie with the Shi'ar showing up right as the X-men are celebrating beating Apocalypse. Then its the fight for Dark Phoenix.

Am I a total outlier for liking the Apocalypse movie? Lots of great stuff in there, even though Singer doesn't have his fastball anymore.
I think it had some brief moments but it just seemed really bland, wooden, and it lacked general excitement. For a movie about mutants and the 'end of days' that's not good.
Just a film that was going through the motions but that's just my limited opinion.

I felt they were a little too obsessed with their "this movies set in the 80s, what 80s things can we stick in here" Also, having not 1, but 2 of Apocalypse's Horsemen betray him hurt. Jean Grey going full Phoenix to stop him, only to have Apocalypse still "hes getting away" until Storm zapped him, almost made Storm seem more powerful than Jean. Having Magnetos family, killed, AGAIN...
Just a lot of little things that were pointless or could have been tweaked.

i didnt mind eriks family getting killed since that also happened in the comics (daughter shouldnt have been a mutant but i guess they needed a trigger to kill them)
agreed on two horsemen betraying him. i thought munn as betsy was spot on but far too small a role
will they ever get a warren worthington right?
obviously apocalypse could have worked better but it was a far better portrayal then initially shown
doing these in different decades is ok but yes, they definitely seemed forced on some aspects.
not a fan of jlaw being queen xmen but understand from a studio money making perspective

I only minded Eriks family being killed, because, it was already the focal point of First Class (and what drove him in that movie), and, they established Peter/Quicksilver in DoFP. I would have totally made him a recluse from the world and refusing to get involved. Have Charles be the 4th horsemen (whos mind is strong enough to semi resist) Have Erik eventually lead the X-men against the Horsemen, and, have Apocalypse finally get beat when Charles and Erik work together. Setting up Onslaught for the next movie (instead of another Phoenix story)

Where do I begin
Apocalypse looked like an idiot from an 80s kids show
His 2 powers were the ability to give mutants powers and the ability to turn people to dust
Why didn't he just turn all of the xmen n magneto to dust??
He literally picked the first 4 mutants he saw to be his horsemen
One of those 4 was smashed
For as bad as 75% of X-men Evolution was (the cartoon series), the Apocalypse story arc they built up over the course of the season 2 ending, season 3, and most of season 4, was fantastic. I really think having Charles be a Horsemen and Magneto lead the X-men (much like the Age of Apocalypse comics) would have been a better twist. But ah well. Apocalypse was still a better villain that majority of the ones Marvel has run out there

Fox released new character teases for "The Gifted" I really hope Blink and Thunderbird have major roles in this, other wise I just don't know how interested I'll stay. (and these lil teasers isn't helping)

Why, is Fox doing THREE X-Men movies next year??? Why, would they not spread these out a lil more so they have a movie every year like Marvel / Star Wars / the other franchises?
