The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
There's also speculation that as this deluxe set comes out the day they play Glastonbury, they may play all of OKC. Not their style IMO - probably more likely we'll get some OKC rarities in the set (SHA, The Tourist, etc)

are the transmission signals strong enough so that you could pick them up right outside of the venue?
That's what I'm thinking. He had to have some kind of mobile setup and enough time to figuire out what IEM's were on what frequencies in order to route them to the recorder, etc. Sounds like a major undertaking. I can't imagine that he did it inside the venue. But who knows.

Somebody figured out where the image on the cover of OKC was taken; it's in Hartford, CT. They played there during the end of their US tour in '96, so the picture was probably taken then.

Mixed, Produced, and Mastered by Sharebear/Hoserama Aligned in Adobe Audition Mixed in Nuendo 4, using extra waves, Ozone, Slate plug-ins Dithered using Izotope MBIT+ Flac'ed using Trader's Little Helper Mix version 4
I've been collecting audience recordings for about 20 years, what the hell does that mean? Does that mean they "stole" the signal from each member's IEM and recorded and mixed it themselves? It sounds really good.
I've always wanted to hear a set of IEMs. Too bad the whole lot isn't available.
This is easily the best fan-made recording of a Radiohead show in many, many years. I feel lucky that it happens to be of a show I attended (and the best of the 3 I saw on the AMSP tour)
It's an absolute must-have for any fan. In case any of you are interested, below are a few comments posted by the taper about the recording. (at the atease board where this was first announced/discussed) Taper is pretty coy about the whole thing, and known for not releasing their recordings but for whatever reason felt generous with this one. Some assholes are already selling it of course.
I haven't checked to see if you guys talk much about the process of recording these, but I'd be really interested to hear about it.
Lots of time and money.
Reminder that I've been taping for 15+ years and had $5000+ worth of gear running for that show. The other taper has been taping for 35+ years and has probably a $4000-$5000 rig.
Time and money. Gotta start somewhere though.
It's a very specialized set of post-production skills to put it all together
Seattle recording is in my closet.
May release later this summer.
From a comment on DIME, it looks like MrFang recorded Portland but has not released.

House Of Cards has been stuck in my head all day. In Rainbows may be #2, for me.
In the unlikely event that I ever have a friend who says "I've never listen to Radiohead, where should I start? ", I would give them a copy of in rainbows with no hesitation.
Some people have In Rainbows a #1. I get this but I'm also suspicious of it for some weird reason. I feel like #2 is where In Rainbows should be ranked. I love In Rainbows.

For me, it's the perfect front-to-back listen for most days.
The Bends: I have to be in sort of a nostalgic mood.
OK Computer, Kid A, and AMSP: I have to really steel myself for the head trip and accompanying emotion.
Amnesiac: I have to be in a highly intellectual mood.
HTTT: Too many songs are sucky.
King of Limbs: I've got to be feeling especially mellow.
In Rainbows just flows so easily, from the oddball, uptempo 1-2 punch of 15 Step into Bodysnatchers; the mellow/dreamy middle songs; the brief, epic trip of Jigsaw Falling Into Place; and then Videotape just wrecks me in four short minutes. It covers all the bases of their other records with zero filler and no depressive aftertaste.
