The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
I love "Old Black Hen" -- I wouldn't change anything about that song. The Scout Niblett track I love less, but I appreciate the unique flavor it adds to the record. This is one of my favorite albums of the 2000's -- none of Molina's other work ever came close to hitting me this hard.

Let's do this:
Magnolia Electric Co Didn't It Rain The Lioness Nashville Moon What Comes After the Blues Trials and Errors Mi Sei Apparso Come Un Fantasma Pyramid Electric Co Black Ram Molina & Johnson Josephine Ghost Tropic Let Me Go Let Me Go Let Me Go Shohola Songs: Ohia Axxess and Ace Impala
The only ones I have are your top two (and "Pyramid" on vinyl). I like them both but I like "Magnolia" way better. I liked "Lioness" and "Ghost Tropic" well enough. I didn't care for "What Becomes of the Blues" at all.

I am kind of sick of the fact that there are so many "oral history" articles popping up nowadays, but I am looking forward to reading this one (on the recording of Magnolia Electric Co.): http://www.goldflakepaint.co.uk/jason-m ... ectric-co/

I've meant to mention this 100 times, but there's an authorized biography coming out next month (May 15th in the US); if you order through Secretly Canadian, it comes with a never-before-released radio sessions LP from 1995:
