It's true that the run of All Hands > One Beat > Woods is pretty flawless
For sure, there are a couple of songs, on Dig Me Out, and Hot Rocks, that I might like more than anything on All Hands, or One Beat, but as a whole, All Hands and One Beat are better albums.
Dig Me Out, and The End of You might be my 2nd and 3rd favorite SK songs after Entertain

Thanks for the comp. I must have missed this. I love the Burn to Shine version of Modern Girl and find the album track unlinsenable with the distortion effect, so I swapped it on the album and I enjoy my new custom tracklist much better.

Sometimes, Hot Rock is my favorite second record by them. But honestly, I think that Dig Me Out--> Woods run is what made them one of the best records in rock. I wouldn't try to talk down anybody that had one of those records at the top of the list.

Anyone thinking SK might be in working on a new album? Sam's been doing solo stuff this year, and Janet hasn't popped up in any new projects.
Carrie's doing Portlandia and is prepping to direct a movie, but it's possible they've been working already. She's shown she was able to make a record in between the billion other things she does.

the unreleased Wild Flag song, that was performed live a handful of times "I'm In Love With the Whole World (But Not You)" is so lyrical simple. Reminds me a lot of Wishlist from PJ. But the way Carrie delivers those lyrics is so raw and powerful. LOVE that song so much.
And since I cant find it on youtube at all booo, this will have to do.
