The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
There's a lot of great video footage ou there (BDO, Lollpalooza, Henry Rollins Show, ACL, Late Night Shows, etc) we should make a DVD of the all...I remember when they first broke up, a sub pop e-mail was sent asking fans for video footage for a video retrospective, but sadly nothing came of it....
There was also someone filming the last two shows before the hiatus in the Crystal Ballroom. I was always hoping to see a concert film of that.
Wasn't that someone Lance Bangs (Mr Corin Tucker)?

I think he was...could't find the email...the Surface Envy live video that was posted months ago seems like something he might have done and it's a great video with lots of great footage...I still think something could be done compiling all of the pro-shot footage out there....any volunteer?
I started this over a year ago - finally got it finished with some help from WCT

Yeah, he was there, but I think I saw a small crew if I remember. You can see some footage in this interview (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmLZX1bt8LA), and it's courtesy of Bangs. It seems edited, so it exists in some form, but just hasn't seen release.

My current S-K hot take:
One Beat is a better album than The Woods, and their high water mark
Entertain, and Jumpers disagree. I can understand someones personal feelings liking one album over another, but... Entertain and Jumpers, and the whole Woods album is so good, if anything the water level did not drop off

All Hands on the Bad One The Woods Dig Me Out One Beat
The Hot Rock No Cities to Love Self Titled Call the Doctor
All are great for me. The first 4 albums are all nearly tied, and the other 4 albums too, I'm not even sure about my order. It feels wrong to have Call the Doctor last, because I love it. But S/T is criminally underrated as well, and I think I'm more inclined to listen to it these days. It's interesting how I got into all of these nearly at the same time (when NCTL came out), and while I love that album I feel like No Cities to Love has aged rather poorly compared to the rest. It used to be near the top for me.

I remember having a discussion on SK's old board years ago. Almost all of us, put the ST, and Call the Doctor last, and the general feeling, is because no Janet. I would love to hear them play a few of the ST songs live again. Outside of Sold Out and Be Yr Mama, I don't recall seeing any of those on any bootlegs after 2000.
The Woods is easily my number 1
Call the Doctor and ST are my bottom 2
the other 5 though, I cant rank, if I had to, id probably just go in the order they came out.
