I haven't listened to it, as it technically goes against the rules of our 'no leak' club ;)

However, does it actually sound like a proper structured song? Or could it just be an improv/jam?

Did I ever tell you guys about the time I snuck into the Detroit 2000 soundcheck and they played a sped up Release? I bet it sounded like a new song from outside the venue, but it's never made it into a set, so I guess they were just fuckin around.

I've never heard about it, how much faster was it?

Whatever speed it was, it was almost certainly too fast.

So, one from what I can tell is very much a rock ballad, with Lost Dogs slow side-type atmosphere (maybe more of a classic 80s type feel). I don't dislike what I'm hearing. At all.

Can't hear many vocals at all, though, and I'm doubting it's unfinished if they're planning on playing it, so my best guess is that this was a take for soundchecking the instruments only.

The little you could take from it, I thought it had a "When The Levee Breaks" vibe to it.

Let's not get carried away. That's my favorite LZ song so I don't want the expectations for this song that high.

To be honest, if this thing is produced right, and the lyrics are OK (yeah, I'm going to be saying that *a lot*), I might end up really digging this one as well.
