So I had meant to check her out when Once I Was an Eagle came out; I was intrigued by the Bill Callahan reference, but I never got around to it...
Got Semper Femina yesterday, have listened to it twice (it's free on Prime for those interested). I love it. Shades of Joni Mitchell, Beth Orton's best work, Fiona Apple, and Nora Jones...But it's her own thing, too. Really evocative stuff.

I've only heard Short Movie (on Jorge's recommendation) and I really like it. But I should be more familiar with it and with her entire career, come to that. I think I'm just going to listen to her exclusively for a while.
