The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.

After much headache and hassle, I am thrilled that I have FINALLY fixed the audio lag on my system!
How'd you fix it?
I bought a new 4K player, and at first, while it was certainly an improvement in the lag, it was still present, even though it was slight. Thankfully, this player has a separate HDMI out for audio, so I hooked that up directly to my soundbar, bypassing the TV ARC. Now everything syncs up perfectly.
You going to sell the XBOX One then?
Nah, I'll probably hold onto it for 4K HDR gaming.

Glad you noticed the differences, too! I upgraded to a 2TB hard drive and noticed better load times as well.
I was debating getting RE7, but RE5 and 6 were so bad that I'll probably hold off. I remember when the first one came out for PS1 and being totally blown away.

How fast is your new hard drive? I'll likely have to upgrade mine soon, as it's nearly full.

Load times seem to be a bit faster. Very glad to have a bigger drive. I buy a decent amount of games digitally and it is nice to have everything on there.
I only played it for a few minutes last night (the data transfer took awhile) so I didn't really get to put it through its paces.

It's 6GB/s. This is the one I ordered, highly recommend it (plus it's easy as hell to swap out the old one):

A 4K TV really highlights how shitty the compression is for cable.
Oh yeah. It's garbage.
I dont think you are appletv, but how does it handle these streaming devices and services? Way better?
We got a TLC Roku 4K HD about a month ago, and it really just depends on the ISP throttling. Some nights HD content looks fantastic; others you can see a lot of chunky pixelation in the darker colors of the screen.

In my experiences it really depends on the specific app and how you are playing it. Some networks/providers care more about picture quality while others may favor certain devices (Android vs. Apple vs. Roku vs PS4, etc.). WatchESPN is consistently pretty shitty though.

What's your experience with gaming? BF1 is the only game I have that tells me I'm playing in HDR, but I'll be damned if I can see much of a difference when I turn the HDR off. I *can* notice it more if I have Chromatic Aberration and Film Grain effect turned on in the game's video options, but I leave those effects off, and am otherwise not seeing much of a difference.
