god damnit joey
Yeah, WTF?
Yeah
I hate Habit too, I really like Joey's top 10
I used to hate Habit, but it has gone up my list quite a bit over the last few years (along with songs like Evacuation, Get Right, & Parachutes). It now falls near the middle of the pack instead of in the bottom 25%.
And I agree that Joey has a solid top 10, but Sleight of Hand should be in there!

This just got me listening to some Pearl Jam for the first time in a while and Go really should be number one, probably across all albums. There is no better way to start an album than that track

I agree wholeheartedly but then I think of Last Exit, Brain of J, Like A Rolling Stone, Rocks Off, Gimme Shelter, Hurricane, Love Sick, Changing Of The Guards, Out There, Thumb, Let Me Drown. Hey I know nothing.

I could care less about Go, I could never get into that track, in fact I still believe that Pearl Jam usually have pretty weak album openers. (Last Exit and Brain of J are great but I still dont love them as much as most people here do)

I kinda agree with that.
Album Openers:
Great: Last Exit (Vitalogy, 1994) Brain Of J. (Yield, 1998) Go (Vs, 1993)
Good: Breakerfall (Binaural, 2000) Sometimes (No Code, 1996) Can't Keep (Riot Act, 2003)
Decent: Once (Ten, 1991)
Nah: Getaway (Lightning Bolt, 2013) Life Wasted (Avocado, 2006) Gonna See My Friend (Backspacer, 2009)

Matt Cameron ranking:
In the Moonlight (Lost Dogs, 2003) Unemployable (Avocado, 2006) Cropduster (Riot Act, 2003) Evacuation (Binaural, 2000) You Are (Riot Act, 2003) Johnny Guitar (Backspacer, 2009) Get Right (Riot Act, 2003) The Fixer (Backspacer, 2009)
The first 3 are interchangeable and amongst my all time favorites from the band (Cropduster is probably better than Unemployable but I fucking love Unemployable). These are all great (except the fixer but it's still alright I guess).

Good: Save You (Riot Act, 2003) Even Flow (Ten, 1991) ---- I'll admit that this could fit in with the greats, I just don't love it that much anymore. Mind Your Manners (Lightning Bolt, 2013)
Decent: Gods' Dice (Binaural, 2000) Spin The Black Circle (Vitalogy, 1994)
Nah: Got Some (Backspacer, 2009) World Wide Suicide (Avocado, 2006)

Faithfull (Yield, 1998) Sad (Lost Dogs, 2003) Hail, Hail (No Code, 1996) Animal (Vs, 1993) World Wide Suicide (Avocado, 2006) Save You (Riot Act, 2003) Other Side (Lost Dogs, 2003)
Gods' Dice (Binaural, 2000) Got Some (Backspacer, 2009) Even Flow (Ten, 1991) Spin The Black Circle (Vitalogy, 1994)
Mind Your Manners (Lightning Bolt, 2013)
I know Lost Dogs shouldnt count but I added it anyways. These are pretty great, MYM is the only one I don't care about and the first 7 are huge favorites of mine (I might also add God's Dice to that group actually)

Yeah, track 2 is fairly strong for me too. If I had included Sad, it would have been in my top group too.
