It is!! I named my woodwork business after them. I kinda know them a little bit, my pal gav was their bass player for a couple of records. Saw them support PJ in 03, we did the whole tour with em. Still a great band. Make another world is my favourite of theirs.
Cool! I got into them when I learned they'd be opening for PJ in 2003. "100 Broken Windows" and "The Remote Part" are both solid albums. Saw them in Chicago with PJ -- they were good, though the crowd engagement was disappointing.
Guys, I am not a moderator! I swear to God! Why does everyone think I'm a moderator?

Wish I would have known you back then to meet up in Vegas.

Yeah roddy isn't the most engaging front man but they are a great band.
Vegas was weird. A totally weird experience. But we saw a perfect cross section of America on that tour. 13 places in 3 weeks. Eye opening but great. Chicago I will always love.
Oh, the band was fine; I meant the crowd was lame. They were fine once PJ started up, I just sometimes think venues that size aren't terribly conducive to checking out a band for the first time, as I suspect many were with Idlewild.

All true. It's about the seating thing. Definitely the reason the band prefer playin Europe and elsewhere. Crowds are way more into it. My own experiences seein them in the US (15 times I think?) and Europe (23 times) definitely bring me to agree. Haven't Seen em over there since they introduced the GA set up on the floor
