Ron Perlman on WTF is a great listen.
How many times does the Tom Waits biopic come up?
There's five mins left, and I don't believe he's mentioned it once. I was half-paying attention for a moment while responding to emails, so I could be wrong. But I don't think so.

It was a joke. There is no Tom Waits biopic.
Was it killed? There are numerous stories about the development, but nothing recent.

That's the joke. There was talk about it a thousand years ago and nothing ever came of it. I'm not convinced it was ever a real thing, actually. But once a month somebody posts something about a "confirmed" Tom Waits biopic starring Ron Perlman. It's hilarious. It's a rumor that just won't die.

The Marlon Brando story was great.
Wasn't it just!

The good outweighs the bad, but sometimes I do want to reach into my headphones and slap the guy around. His dramatic editing flourishes are also corny as all fuck. Stuff like...

Yeah, I don't think I could deal with that.
Sometimes I think I should start a podcast. I already have a decent mic and preamp, so I could get away with just getting a cheap USB interface and using Audacity. But I don't know if the world needs another podcast.

Of course it does, bart. Say something good if you've got something to say. Sure, there are a lot of podcasts---but most of them are real dreck. If you can put together something valuable, that's worth doing.

You should hear Kevin Smith's argument about starting a podcast. It boils down to this (as his version is more verbose) - just fucking do it.
