I like using it. There are no brokerage fees, but when you sell, you're looking at a three day turnaround before those funds are useable.
My gains have been positive so far, but since I'm not playing with much money, I'm not exactly raking it in. This volatile market is pretty good for people like me who aren't willing to invest hundreds of dollars and stick around for the long haul.

y'know, this reminds me. when I asked you to come to Chicago, you ignored me. then I read that you were interested in coming to Chicago in the Wrigley field thread only after others threw it out there. this really hurt ruddo.
The Government of Canada sold 21,851 ounces of gold coins for settlement in February. On February 29, gold holdings stood at 77 ounces. The valuation is based on the February 29, 2016, London p.m. fix of US$1,234.90 per ounce.
Apparently the government of Canada hates gold.

That map is missing two important factors. One is adjusting on a per capita basis, and ideally it would be a ratio on jobs available vs job seekers. The second, of course, is cost of living. That's a huge factor to consider in places like NYC or the Bay Area.

Sure. Cost of living or some wage-related data would be important. Creating 60,000 Taco Bell jobs is arguably worse than creating 6,000 office jobs. But what it shows is where there is demand for labor, which would imply that there is still some availability of higher skilled positions that feed down into other jobs suggesting a labor market still exists in some areas. IMHO, those are desirable areas to be in if you want to earn a living.
