Absolutely. Just forget all you know about their previous output. The Tron soundtrack has a slightly closer feel to this than the rest too. A few orchestral bits here and there. And they work really well.

I'll give it a chance, but I have no expectations. My brother and a couple friends think "Get Lucky" is just so fricken great. My brother says it will be "the song of the summer.". Yeah, I'm not seeing it. Pretty meh.

I love this album. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the first half of 'Touch' and its weird, melodramatic outtro.

Fragments of time is a little grating. It's like they have this really good flow going in and the. That happens. Could be more about its placement it I'm nt loving that one.

I heard the radio edit of 'Get Lucky' and found it pretty bland and forgettable. I understand why some might like it, but only as much as other bland and forgettable disco/funk. The section with the Daft Punk-esque robotic voices, and the open hi-hats on the drums, was pretty good. But it was one section in the middle of a song which was four chords repeated over and over, which really could've done with a bridge. Should I bother with the album?
