The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
He was already far too strung out by that point. I remember when that aired, thinking they made him wear the long sleeves and turtle neck to hide track marks from H.

i'd like to know why he was fired just because of all the times he wasn't fired.
i remember reading that he was tired of playing the same greatest hits show for 4 years, but then he announces a solo tour on which he will play songs from core and plush. come on, dude. i think naked sunday, where the river goes, army ants, and kitchenware and candybars are the only songs from those albums that haven't been setlist staples.

yeah, but he also played other rarities like black again. He is a really good musician, a troubled one for sure, and they have been in that loving-hating relationship since 1996 i guess. At this point, even if i love the band, and live there were truly awesome, its ok for me if they decide to call the quits. Their albums are all great, they changed their sound more than one time and covered a wide palette of sounds. I hope to see them involved in others things because or their talents, not only Scott, whose solo career is pretty interesting, but the band too.
I thought Wicked Garden sounded pretty bad too...maybe it was the keyboards that bothered me. It's always tough to tell from these sorts of live videos, but there just didn't seem to be much life there...

Yeah, it was bad too, even if he's going for a different vibe. The bassist and guitarist aren't even playing the right parts for Wicked Garden. Scott Weiland aside, my old cover band pulled it off better than these ass clowns.
Back in the 90s, it was Pearl Jam, Nirvana, and Stone Temple Pilots, then everyone else for me. The first 3 albums were really big for me, I was okay with the fourth, and jumped ship on Shangri-La-Dee-Da. I still love all those classics from the first 3 albums, but I've never quite been able to get into the last 2 albums. I had a very similar experience with Smashing Pumpkins, where I enjoyed everything thorugh Mellon Collie, and disliked everything that followed - though I have not heard their latest album.
Oh, and just to add to the pile:
1. Purple 2. Tiny Music... 3. Core 4. No. 4 5. Shangri-La-Dee-Da 6. Stone Temple Pilots
Poor Weiland. He's a much better singer than this Chester cat but Linkin Park was a pretty huge band for some reason and I could see this working out pretty well. New song is by the numbers....cool solo though. Weiland's gonna really have to kiss Slash's ass now.

Slash wants nothing to do with him, and why would he? Him and Myles do just fine together, and without all the drama and BS that would come along with Weiland.
