the fact that all the actors have to go by are 3-4 sentences describing the storylines with no dialogue whatsoever and everything adlibbed makes this show even better.

The episodes were outlined. Certain talking points needed to be discussed during the ad lib. They still need to change locations and introduce characters. That would never happen without an outline.
