Personally I'm not in favour of these being included in this compilation, but am grateful for all the work being done!
Thanks! Obviously won't be including the String Quartet versions but will look into the others. I didn't want to include them on the compilation proper either, but thought completists might appreciate them on optional bonus discs.

I've decided to rearrange the B-Sides & Rarities collection a bit. There will now be two bonus 'For the Serious Collector' discs that contain:
- Tracks with only minor edits to their album versions (e.g. Save You (Clean Edit)) - Pearl Jam songs covered by others (e.g. Rearviewmirror by the Frogs) - EV tracks where he only makes a minor/almost inaudible contribution (e.g. Big Train w/Mike Watt) - Tracks that are superfluous to tracks included elsewhere in the collection (e.g. 16-minute version of Long Road w/Musrat Fateh Ali Khan)
Here's a preliminary tracklist for these discs, does anyone know of any other artists that have officially released a cover of a PJ song?
I have:
Aaron Lewis - Black (The Family Values Tour 2001) FLAC Allison Crowe - Indifference (Crowe Covers Live And Rare) mp3
Looks like there are a lot more officially released covers out there than I thought. Will need to rethink including them, even on the 'Serious Collectors' discs.
Perhaps I'll only include the 'friends of PJ' covers like The Frogs and Ben Harper, rather than all these other artists that PJ would cringe at...
Will you be including Touch Me I'm Dick from the Citizen Dick RSD single?
Wondering if there's a FLAC rip of this floating around anywhere...
I think that is more of a non-EV side-project rarity, which are not included on this collection (there's just too many of them, and very few worth your time).

I assume it's most/all of the band, since the track comes from the October 1990 London Bridge Studios demo tape. I can provide a 24-bit vinyl transfer of it if you need it.

Does anyone know who actually plays on this song?
I assume it's most/all of the band, since the track comes from the Mookie Blaylock October 1990 London Bridge Studios demo tape. I can provide a 24-bit vinyl transfer of the Record Store Day single if you need it.

03 "Black Hole Sun" (featuring Matt Cameron/Mike McCready) - 5:25 12 "Blowin' Smoke" (featuring Matt Cameron/Mike McCready) - 3:47
I added those tracks on my share folder. And the Seether cover of Immortality too.
They are FLAC tracks.
seeya!
Thanks spived - will keep these for a possible non-EV collaborations compilation down the track.

I ridleybradout. Thanks for all these comps and whatnot you post. Good stuff man
Shucks, it's just good to know you guys want to hear this stuff as much as I enjoy putting it together
So I'm going to include 'Touch Me I'm Dick' on Disc 1, however I'm having trouble determining WHEN exactly it was recorded.
Pearljamonline's Recording Session guide has it down as 8-13 October 1990, along with the other tracks that surfaced in June 2011 on the so called 'Mookie Blaylock's FIRST Demo tape'. However, it was later pointed out that this tape was actually a 'Pearl Jam - Outtakes' compilation that assembled tracks from various 1990-1991 sessions. For example, EV confirms in the Ten Deluxe Box set that the versions of SOLAT and 2000 Mile Blues included on it (identical takes to those on the 'Outtakes' tape) are actually rough mixes from the March-April 1991 Ten sessions.
Anyway, the 7" RSD recording of 'Touch Me I'm Dick' (identical to that on the 'Outtakes' tape) sounds very clean (i.e. professionally recorded, similar to SOLAT and 2000 Mile Blues) which makes me think it is likely also from the March-April 1991 Ten sessions, rather than a 'Mookie' 1990 session.
So the question is, did PJ record 'Touch Me I'm Dick' especially for 'Singles' in 1991 during the Ten sessions, or was it recorded in October 1990 (along with other covers Wishing Well and It Ain't Like That), and re-appropriated as a Citizen Dick song by Cameron Crowe?
After 2.5 years of chipping away at this mammoth project, I'm pleased to be able to finally unveil it
I'll be releasing details of a pair of discs each week for the next few weeks. Note that no public download links will be posted here.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped contribute to this (list in liner notes), hopefully I haven't forgotten anyone. Special thanks to JWB for his amazing work ripping and remastering the vinyl tracks, you've never heard the Holiday Singles sound as good as this
If anyone notices any errors/typos/bugs in the artwork/tags, please let me know
