This idea has potential, and it's on FX. I hope they do a good job with it.

Was this filmed at UC Berkley?

Anyone else watch this?

First impression: It was an okay show. Not sold on it yet. The last 20 minutes had me hopeful. I'll continue to watch a few more episodes to see if its worth my time.

Glad I dvr'd it too. The effer was 90 minutes long. I don't think I would've been able to watch the whole thing in real time.

Watched it. Not bad, but there was too much dramatic irony. The audience knowing they're Russian and no one else knowing cannot be expected to continue to get laughs.

I thought it was ok. I'll give it a chance, but I'm not sure how far this show can go.

I don't know that they're really going for laughs. Maybe Mad Men style "oh don't we know better and isn't it silly" smirks. I liked the episode.

I am surprised there is not much talk about this show. I like it a lot so far (only saw 2 episodes so far).

Is this not an RM approved show?

I'm still watching it, seen every episode so far. Most of the eps have been decent, with only 1 real good one. Its an enjoyable show, but it hasn't blown me away yet. Not sure if it has the legs for another season.

If I owned the RM stamp of approval, I would stamp this show. It's been done in a dozen great shows by now, but I find yself yet again rooting for the badguys. There always came a point in those other shows when I turned against them and started to root against the main character badguys, but I'm not sure that this show is going to get to that point. The "bad" main characters are more brainwashed than pure evil or consciously choosing to do bad, and they seem already to be becoming more good with every episode.
By good or bad I don't mean American or Soviet, but really more just rational or irrational. Obviously, the wife still has a ways to go. Her heart is close, but her instincts are still the same. I really like this program.

I like it so far, I'm not completely sold yet but it has a lot of potential. I have a hard time seeing this show go past more than a couple of seasons though.

I think it's as good a drama as FX has, on the level with Justified and Sons of Anarchy. None of these shows are up to the level of the three great AMC shows, but they are a very strong second tier. I'm sure they can come up with some game-changing ideas that can keep this show alive and interesting in future seasons, assuming people are watching it.

Just watched the pilot. Enjoyed it. Really like the two leads and Noah Emmerich is good as usual. They don't seem to overplay the 80s cheese, which I was a little worried about. I don't generally care for the dramas on FX, so this was a nice surprise.
