that might be one of if not the strongest looking sets of the tour, but overall i'm still not feeling these shows on paper. not yet regretting missing this tour, though keeping the option open for milwaukee or chicago. i'm sure i'd have a good good time if i went, mainly the acoustic sets, but i just haven't yet felt like i had to be there.
on another note, picked up the remember two things vinyl issue last night and if you have a turntable, you'll want this.

all in all a great 2 night stand. the setlists were kinda all over the place, but the band sounded great. night 2 was probably more consistent, but did you see the end of the main set of night 1? my god man

i think they've played camden the last weekend of june for like the last 4 years. pretty great weekend for an annual dmb double header.
i dunno why i've just discovered this now, but i've been listening to 'watchtower' from the 2009 tour w/ the end of 'stairway to heaven' mixed in at the end. this is one of the best things the band has ever done

while i wouldn't go as far as you are in describing it, i thought the stairway bit was pretty damn cool.

yeah, i might be going overboard since ive been listening to it a alot, but it is really awesome. tim reynolds is probably my favorite guitar player ever.

TR3 shows are some of the most enjoyable gigs I've ever been to.

they are playing 3 nights at the gorge this weekend and n1 and n2 have had no 'before these crowded streets' songs in the sets. so obviously the chatter is that the album gets played tomorrow. would be cool if it gets the front-to-back treatment.
edit: welp, just a pipe dream.

Band just announced their summer tour today, pretty excited they're playing Meadowbrook in NH...great place to see a show, and at only 9,000 cap, not really a bad seat anywhere in the place

Do they have a new album coming out?
The fact that it's been almost 4 years since Away from the World was released, and the announcement that they won't be touring next year, I hope that they will at least start recording for a new album in 2017.
