The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.

Netflix now has the second season streaming. I remember this board being lukewarm on this series, but there's something about it that keeps me coming back for more. It's got to be Carrie and Fred's chemistry.

I like the concept, but the execution is lacking at times. I haven't seen season 2.

So you have netflix streaming? You know Jeff Who Lives at Home is on there.

Yes, I have streaming. I prefer to watch feature length films on my television screen though.

I don't like watching anything of length on a computer. It's why I sprung for a Roku player.

The general gist of how I feel, too. Still, even in a stale sketch, the way the characters are played often redeems it for me.

It makes some of them bearable, though I don't recall any I outright hated.

I don't really need the portability, but my desktop is likely to crap out soon and i'm probably going to get at least a tablet.

We'd probably spend most of our time in our respective rooms with our doors shut, only really talking to each other when he confronts me for never chipping in for the milk.

Or leaving your toenail clippings in the kitchen sink.

I'd never do that.

Season 3 kicked off last night (I didnt see it as I dont get IFC)
But read an interview with Carrie yesterday... they wrote a more structured story this season... more story arcs, but its still mostly all improved, very lil dialogue written

Ive always said the show has a Curb Your Enthusiasm feel to it, without the swearing/adult themes. Would love to see Larry David guest star for a day... Just have Larry get lost in Portlandia and run into all these characters
