I can still remember the jaded Jorge of 2011 or 2012 who coolly shrugged off a Pearl Jam show while on the shores of some South American beach or something. What changed, friend?

If this show coincided with the Mar del Plata Film Festival again (which is where I was in 2011), I'd be there.
Plus, this is a festival and I'll also get to see The Hives and Two Door Cinema Club and The Black Keys.

Since they didnt play Last Kiss in Brazil, i guess they are going to play it here agaaain...fuck.
why is it so painful? if anything, this song is responsible of earning PJ fans more than anything since Yield. also, one thing that jumped right at my face at the last PJ show i attended: the crowd participation is a major factor in their live schtick. personnally, i find that fucking annoying but i think i came around to the fact that i'm a fan of their studio output, period. many people LOVE the crowd participation and Last Kiss (espiecially in a festival setting) draws plenty of it...and they play songs that suck much more than this too.

Agreed, though the increased crowd participation is a relatively new development.
I think Pearl Jam were a fantastic live band up until 2003 or so. That isn't to say they're not still a lot of fun to see play, but I definitely prefer the approach they used to have.
