Indeed. It's strange how the episodes have what seems to be two completely separate stories* going on and yet I don't feel annoyed when one is shown over the other. I also love how they manage to have stuff that isn't explained and other stuff where it's just an infodump, answering questions left and right.
Special mention for the cinetography and direction because it's just a beautiful show to look at, never mind how good the actual story and acting are.
*I know they're related by Stephen Rea, it's just that that wasn't really revealed until the 3rd episode.
this is beautifully shot. good story so far, though i've felt lost a few times but most of those moments resolved later one in the series. 2 episodes to go.

Pretty much. I doubt this will ever come to the states since it's a Channel 4 production and they don't have a US counterpart. The best you'll probably get is a region-free blu-ray and that' snot guaranteed.
Just managed to get some time to watch the first two episodes.
Episode 1 was amazing. Episode 2 was also great - I don't really like Becky or the oh-so-punchable kid, so they can drag bits down for me.
I like that they didn't spend 4 seasons referring vaguely to some events in the past: they just went in and showed it all. Looks like Fargo's going to do a similar thing for its second season.
