The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
I just started the Gold Coast Show, my god ED sounds fucking horrible here. Auckland was rather good.
I'm trying to make a good compilation of 2013-2014 shows for my trip to Italy. Would you mind offering some suggestions for a couple songs that are played often like Given to Fly, lightning bolt, go, black, and do the evolution? Thank you in advance.

Why Go > DTE that opens Adelaide is about as good as modern-day PJ gets. Auckland has a great Black, and the best LB is definitely OKC

I like the OKC show. Why I didn't go I will never know. My buddy backed out and I didn't wanna go by myself but from now on that won't even matter.
As a rather new person to the board and someone who is a PJ live show virgin (embarrassing I know) it's entertaining and refreshing to hear how intense you guys speak (well....type) about live shows.
Lincoln can't get here soon enough and I'm toying with the idea of going to Tulsa as well.....even by myself.....shows on back to back nights would just be

If you're able to, definitely do it. Back to back shows make for a great couple of days.

I concur. When I travel for shows I usually do at least two. And don't worry about going alone.

Seeing back to back shows takes away the whole "i hope they play this, oh no they played Porch that means I wont get RVM" dynamic of seeing Pearl Jam.
Though this isn't particularly interesting, it took til my third Pearl Jam show to see Porch and my fourth to see RVM; they didn't play either at the first two shows I saw.

I didn't get Porch over until my 8th show. I saw them 7 times in '96 and '98 without it, then finally got it in 2000. Over those first 7, I saw RVM 5 times.
I didn't get Release until my 13th show (Gorge 96), and not as the opener until my 18th show. Then I got it 3 more times as the opener in a row.
