As much as I enjoy the experimentation and off-the-wall weirdness of tracks like Bugs/Aye Davanita/Stupid Mop they do have the tendency of interrupting the flow of the album for me on occasion. You can't really play "Vitalogy" in the background at work or any social function without a lot of people being confused.

If I'm honest I've deleted the arty tracks except aye davanita. Which I really like. Wish it was longer. And had some lyrics.

The major flaw for Vitalogy is that it is no fun. Coming off of Vs which is bursting with energy and enthusiasm just highlights how dour this album is. It definitely has it's moments (Corduroy, Betterman, Immortality) But I prefer my Pearl Jam to be a bit more light-hearted.

Vitalogy definitely needs more fun, light-hearted songs like Immortality.

And Spin the Black Circle is just too damn deep and philosphical for my tastes.

And Whipping, too

So how does one express one's self as a person if one's self is not human? How does a human expess one's self if they are not person ?

This is fantastic work. I wish you could have worked Last Exit into your original string of puns. Nicely done though.
