I know that Tremor Christ, Immortality, and Black have won in the past...there was a list in another post somewhere...

Although in 2012 I think we then ran two other tournaments. One for 2000+ and one for the 90s with the top 32 songs facing each other. I forget who won that, but I think it was a totally different finals than the larger tournament. Also the 90s songs largely demolished the 2000 output.

Why no tournaments in 10,11, or 13?

In 2010 and 2011 it was because there was no point, The Fixer was obviously going to win. Every other song in the catalog just forfeited. In 2013 there was a tournament and Inside Job won but was later forced to vacate the title when it was discovered it had used academically ineligible votes.

seems plausible. I vaguely remember this now that chud said something, but I don't recall how it went.

I ran it and I believe it was just before Backspacer came out and Backspacer songs were not included. The premise was whatever pre-Backspacer song was voted worst still wouldn't be as bad as the Fixer.

The fact that "Olympic Platinum" was a finalist says a lot about this board's collective sense of humor.
