I just watched a staged reading of a new musical based on the poems and letters of Edna St. Vincent Millay. It was quite beautiful. I'm not at all familiar with Millay's work, but I was moved. Might check out some her stuff.

I've just come in here to say that all this "mentioning books I haven't heard of" crap is British poet-shaming.

British poetry is just J.H. Prynne, Martin Corless-Smith, and a bunch of farts.
