Guys, Pendulum really doesn't do anything for me.
Yeah. I'm in this camp as well. It's not bad or anything, but if I never heard it again I don't think I'd notice.
It's just kind of...there.
It feels more like a construction than some kind of creative expression, I guess - fit "moody piece A" into "moody piece B" and liberally apply reverb, you know? Nothing to see here, just a bunch of professional rock musicians hard at work making some professional rock music.
It's been the complete opposite for me. All the songs have grown on me even more, especially Pendulum and Infallible. I think they are near flawless songs, I just love the music, the lyrics. They are fantastic songs to me. I'll be listening to them for years to come for sure.

There's nothing right with Bon Jovi either, unless you really need someone to fill in five minutes of dead air in "old people parade" style on your idiotic morning show.
You don't listen to any music that old people like?

SBM is actually surprisingly fun. I find it more potable than many of the other LB songs which just seem "forced" (that whole Eddie "kicking out" the new tenants syndrome...)
I think Pendulum is actually better live than on the album, but some of that may have to do with the adrenaline rush that accompanies a show opener. Then again, many wish that Pendulum either opened/closed LB, so that added opener emotional push may not be undeserved...
Pendulum has a relatively simple format, but it is refreshing compared to a lot of the other LB songs where Eddie is just singing what the guitar notes are doing the whole time. Plus I think Pendulum's lyrics are a little bit of a step up, they have a symbolism that is still not entirely understood, whereas most of the other LB songs have lyrics that can be taken pretty literally...
My Father's Son and Getaway get the 2013 WTF award for live performance quality. Was really looking forward to these live, and the band just didn't seem to be prepared on these, let alone 'feeling it' ...

Can't know what's high Till you've been down so low.
Not good lyrics.

Nice to listen to if you don't pay too much attention i guess though, which is more than i can say for half the other songs.

A few months later the only songs I find myself wanting to hear are Swallowed Whole, Sleeping by Myself, and Pendulum.
Sleeping by myself was such a wonderful surprise
I don't dislike it but I think putting on the record was a mistake.
Sleeping By Myself is a perfect B-side. I think releasing a proper Mind Your Manners single with that as an otherwise unreleased B-side would have been really enjoyable.
