The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
I really like this one. The Ujam thing was a good choice. I never listen to it, but it was, at least in theory, a cool collaboration. And LROM is my favorite thing to appear on any Xmas single.
I feel like this is easily the worst Christmas single. A song they had recorded for a movie and a cover that is legitimately one of the most embarrassing moments in the band's career.
This year's single looks pretty good, though I wish they'd go back to recording new stuff.
Agreed, that 06 was terrible.
This year's is a double misfire for me. I'm not particularly fond of Vedder's solo material being mined for these things and already thought the 99 Problems cover was awful.

Yeah, I'm not digging this one either.
Woah fella, save it for the end of the chat session.

LROM was only available via the single though, right?

put me in the camp that thinks this is just fine as an x-mas single.
99 Problems (like the PJ20, U2, Little Sister, Red Rocks, and Reach Down performances) must have been a high-point for them from the past year (although, it's hard to tell what the Red Rocks one is unless it's part of the opening of the vault releases that I think started that same year).
Shattered is clearly supposed to be fun and that's what it is.
You'll regret it when next year's single is "The Farmer in the Dell (Ed with special guest Jill McCormick)" & "Hot for Teacher (Mike McCready, live in his basement playing along with a really worn out vinyl copy of 1984)"
