I've never liked this song as much as everyone else, it's my least favourite song on Ten I think. I mean, obviously there's plenty to like about it, but it just seems like not-much-of-a-song to me, just an excuse to get to the solo / jam.

this might be my single favorite pearl jam song ever. the last verse is just about everything i love in pearl jam. intense. passionate. goose bump inducing. 5 fuckin stars right here.

I fucking love Porch but wish they would return to the verse at least once more somewhere in the song. That's my favorite part and it never returns after 50 seconds of the song. Not sure if you can even call it a verse.

We must stop agreeing like this.

See the little intro Ed plays live? Like he's flicking an industrial clit? *dur durn durn durn nu - whip whip - wa wa wap wap wap wup* It could be my favourite thing this band does live. It's a ridiculously badass intro. If only we had 1992 Ed to do his singing into to the denouement a la MTV unplugged. That shit is primal!

I was gonna post how I wish they would lose the slow intro. The SNL version of this was my favorite live moment for a long time. I wore that blank VHS out.
edit: yes the VHS was BLANK. Nothing on it.

I always liked it okay but have enjoyed it more the past few years. One that I think has aged better than some other Ten era songs. The Ed solo version has grown on me too.

This one has fallen the farthest for me. Was my favorite song, hands down, for many, many years. Melbourne 95 was a notable favorite. Wouldn't even crack the top 30 for me now, mostly because what used to feel like a very dynamic jam section is now played too fast, with Matt just throwing down one heavy fill after another. There's no more tension to it. Shame.
