This actually seems a lot more extensive than what they were going to do with Gigaton. I remember with Gigaton, I was going to have to drive about an hour away closer to Philly (before that whole theater listening experience got cancelled). Now there's at least 2 theaters in close proximity showing this. I think more theaters are open to doing this kind of thing, especially since the pandemic took a hit on the box office. I think I read somewhere about AMC showing live concerts recently.

Me and some friends went to a small local theater to watch that Smile concert a few years back. That was a totally awesome experience. Add in the easy access to the bar and the pisser and I would much rather do that than deal with the hassle of a concert these days.

I'm heavily thinking about this. My question is, why twice in a row? I usually don't listen to albums that way. I kind of wish it were just once with the visuals.

I hate being a cynical dick but I'm sure it's literally only to justify the cost. No one is paying $20 to listen to an album once when it'll be free a few days later. Running it twice, with great sound and "visuals" makes the cost/time more appealing.
