not really a fan of the open-faced approach tbh
i like all the contents
and the bread
but the failure to apply bread to both sides in it's totality feels like a cop out
societal decay
pick a side

what do you do when life serves you an open-faced shit sandwich?
Well if the bread is the reason, you could try to temporarily remove the topping, and either toast or replace the bread, or if it’s a cheese based sandwich, fry it in a pan with a lid on. Delicious.
If it’s the topping that’s off, that’s worse. If it’s not that bad, it might only lack an ingredient or two, but if it’s truly off (old, stinky, tastes bad), not much can be done. Get a fresh one.
Truly, good fresh bread, should be ingredient number one, if possible.

How do canned fish people feel about canned chicken or canned beef?
If differently, why?
Canned corned beef hash is a staple. But generally i think canned fish just preserves flavor a little better. With that being said I’m not a big fan of mass produced canned tuna
