The odds of being a star after having been in Star Wars are vastly weighed against you.
Harrison ford really the only one. Same with most huge cultural monolith things that end up on screen.

But she’s working away in indie films.

She would be open to coming back for rey and we all know it will happen.

yeah, Hamill´s career sure took a dive after SW. I would say Fisher got it fine and of course, Ford was on another level.

But i thought she was going to film more.

Daniel Radcliffe navigated his post Potter career very cleverly and got out from under the forever Harry Potter curse. Few if any actors ever manage that if you think about it.
The sequel trilogy being received in such a polarised manner definitely wouldn’t help Ridley Boyega etc ad they didn’t have careers to speak of beforehand. Driver and Isaac were fine. They were known quantities and established before sw.

It’ll come around for all of them tho.

Radcliffe might not be a star but he has been working a lot since those movies. And with interesting performances and box office wise too.

Portman was already a star when she appeared on the prequels, the same with Ewan.

This movie is an utter mess.

But I bet in enough time it’ll be a masterpiece

It’s all over the place. You’re on board by the end just cos it’s beaten you over the head with the nonsense of it all

It’s great within its set pieces. All 7364836 of them. Which move from one to the next with little or no explanation but hey. Here’s a gag. Here’s another gag.

It’s a send up. A carry on Star Wars movie (you’ll have to look that up)
It’s a parody. And not even very good at that.

The saga deserved a better ending than this.
