The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.

I just scrolled through this thread. Looks like I gave up on page 90 (2017). Stickman, Argo, and Biff seeing it through to the end! It was fun to see a thread heavy in participation from LV, Verb, Ruddo, Spike, Skitch, Strat, etc. RM used to be a lot of fun.
So was it a virus? Aliens? God? Some metaphor for capitalism or wight supremacy?

I guessin you missed the early seasons. It was a virus. It was thought early on that people only turn when bit but a scientist from the CDC told Rick that everyone is infected.

Yeah, I wasn’t sure that was canon or a red herring to allow for world building. I only watched until Negan beat them to death. Too disgusted to continue.

That was the best half season in a long, long time. Probably the best season in a long,, long time.. No minor points were dragged on. I wish the show always had this sense of urgency. I'm glad Rosita died and didn't pull a Glenn. Rick and Michonne's scene fell flat - it seemed like a teaser for their spin-off more than closure for their TWD arcs.

The Rick and Michonne series starts back but does anyone care anymore? TWD is still one of series to record on the dvr but I don’t know if I will actually watch.
