That sounds a bit too much like the "is a hot dog a sandwich" debate that all the most boring people in the world love to talk about

is a bowl of cereal soup?

It’s more like instant ramen.

is a pancake cake?

During my recent US visit I avoided Chilis, Applebees, Olive Garden, and Red Lobster. But I did stop at Cheesecake Factory with my sister, and my main thought was that it felt like this same type of restaurant. Like it would fit in with the four in the thread title, although I have not visited them. Is this right? (The food was OK)

This is right. But it's expensive for some reason. That's their schtick. To just have high prices and cheesecake
