I feel like his content doesn't live up to his somewhat smug attitude or video titles. For example, his "what makes this song great" videos just have him talking about what is going on in the song and there's not really much in the way of actually discussing what's great about it. "the bass does this", and then "the guitar is doing this". The end. like and subscribe... like, OK, I knew that already... haha

I find those videos interesting, but I don't know much about the technical side of music.

Yeah, I fully agree. And he has a tendency to fall into the tired old "grrr modern music bad" thing as well. To me he's the least insightful of the music theory YouTubers

i remember being at the Seattle groundworks show right after 9/11 when they did something similar (I think it was long road and a maybe 1-2 others). it was sooo good.
