Basically just says feels like a lifetime since we started this run, can’t wait to be home. It wasn’t THAT long of a tour, especially after three years of nothing. I know he’s also said in interviews and pods before that he doesn’t enjoy touring all that much at this stage.
i can't say i blame him. a lot of wear and tear over the course of 30+ years would make any sane person feel that way.
With all the travel and performance I'd say it is on par with a professional athlete.

And still I expect them to tour a bit more in 2023-2024 than in the years before the pandemic. Because..
-Gigaton sold a bit less than expected. -They wanted to announce more shows for their 2020 tour. -They already sold their current tour in book year 2020. -They had to cancel five shows already in 2022 -Due to inflation the costs of the 2022 tour were higher than expected in 2020. -Being the good bosses they probably still paid their touring staff in the pandemic
Basically PJ inc. was hit hard in the last three years. Money is being made mostly on the road and a bit with record sales. So I expect more tours for the next two years. And perhaps a new record soon. There's even more incentive now to release Lost Dogs 2.

It's a loose concept album about the fragile nature of life itself along with thoughts on robots controlling humans and a few songs where Eddie speaks to the challenges of growing old gracefully. Two rumored songs include: The Heart Or The Flesh? and Tidal Dawn.

Album sales mean practically nothing to their bottom line. All of the money --- literally all of it --- is in touring.

Lost Dogs II motherfuckers!
I’m all for this. Let’s have Let It Ride and Cold Confession officially so they can play them at Wrigley and that one guy can think about his dead dad and make it about him.
They’re not even playing Gigaton songs at these shows so why fucking bother with another collection of studio songs?
Becuase they enjoy it?
I suspect they all still absolutely love the creative process, but unfortunately they've reached that point, 30 years in, where if they don't play the hits, their crowds will dwindle. It's kind of unfortunate, but probably beyond their control.
