Yellow Moon is pretty fucking cool...

There was a real lack of a melody I thought. It was alright.

I liked the dark atmosphere, almost smoldering. I think it's gonna be killer live.

It was cool. I liked it. I was just surprised that Ed almost sounded like he was improvising around the lyrics, when the rest of the album had had some quite strong and precise melodies. But Yellow Moon is probably more typically Pearl Jam in that way.

My Fathers Son is much cooler than I thought. It's a total rocker which is not what I was expecting.

Really glad I didn't listen to the Wrigley Future Days. I think I'm going to like this song since I didn't spend the past two months hating it.

Not hearing it.

But, as a reminder, while autotune is almost certainly a presence on this record the people who work with autotune have gotten incredibly good over the years. If they don't want you to hear it, rest assured, you won't.

I hope you find something to like here, McP.

Actually really like the production on Future Days -- total Springsteen feeling.

It is also around 128kbps to 256kbps - I've got this hooked up through a sound card with some AiAiAi headphones but the sound ain't that good. Anyways.

It's pretty nice. Overproduced? Yeah, but it's way better than Wrigley.

Not surprising about the bitrate. These iTunes streams are always kind of flimsy in that regard.

Understood, but I was more asking about the No Leak Club and their feelings on this. I only directed it to you b/c you mentioned the word leak.

Not that its a bad chorus its just totally unexpected. I kind of want that verse shit to go on forever and ever.

i don't HATE the song, never did, but i still stand by my generic 80's sounding ballad assessment. it's just too clean/glossy.

Overall there are more colours and tones than on BS and ST. I feel the album is all over the place and lacks identity but it may be the jukebox approach as I discussed with Harmless weeks ago. There is a great 8 track mini album in here for sure. And there's something here for everyone, Chud and Platy and hopefully v_t_t too (MFS and Pendulum i think)
