The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
I guess because the first single for me really excited that this might be something Different. The more upbeat side of Radiohead. But is listening it's kind of just more of the same Radiohead from what we've heard the last 10 years or so
Get out of my head Strat, that's exactly how I feel about this. It sounds great, of course. but I still feel bamboozled because of "You will never work on TV again"... I really wanted an album that sounded like that.

Pretty underwhelmed by The Smile album after five listens. Thin Thing is the clear standout, and Television is solid. Everything else is fine, nothing overtly bad, but they’ve done it better before. Maybe I’ll come around on it next winter, like others have suggested.

i think i've listened to ALFAA at least once a day since its release. stereogum has posted videos of them playing a couple of new songs that were recorded but didn't make the album.
i'm interested in seeing if any of these songs were originally written for Radiohead but didn't fit another record.

Some of those guitar patches are the exact same as stuff on AMSP.

It was fucking awesome. They played the legendary Paradiso in Amsterdam (capacity 1200 orso). I was almost front row... They already played three new songs and said they are already working on a new record....
