The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
Hello, and thanks for reading. Have you played pro football? College ball? Highschool? Pee-wee? Have you played Madden before? Do you sort of kind of know some of the rules of football? If yes keep reading. If no...well also keep reading! We will take ANYONE. This could turn into a regular gig for the right person. The Cleveland Browns as you may have noticed are having problems scoring points on offense consistently. We are deciding that we actually want to win this year and that we have a real shot at it too. 3 wins in 6 games!? We were expecting maybe 1/3 of those wins for the whole year, but SOMEHOW we have a shot still. Here's the thing...our defense is sick nasty, but we've got problems under center...well one problem. Brandon Weeden. If you're sick of seeing desperation heaves to the sidelines, countless sacks after superb coverage, and underhanded lightly tossed interceptions in the 4th quarter then please come apply! If you can throw a ball, come apply! If you can't, come anyway! We can teach you the basics....throwing the ball to the guy who has the same color shirt as you. Throwing the ball reasonably close to a receiver that's WIDE OPEN, throwing the ball more than 3 yards on 3rd and 16. Think you got what it takes? Come on down! You're the next contestant on Cleveland Quarterbacks! Please no redheads, people named Brett, or any U. Of Florida alum.

If you're a non Cleveland fan but you sympathize for them, which sport would you like to see them win a championship in?
Football, no doubt.
I mean, I'm sure that's in part because as a White Sox fan and a Bulls fan, I consider the Indians and Cavaliers to be rivals. But it also seems that from an outsider's perspective, the Browns winning a Super Bowl would be the biggest deal of the three.
If you are a Cleveland fan would you take an NBA title in the next 5 years if you knew it meant no NFL title in the next 30 years? 50 years?
Absolutely.
They could fold the Browns and I wouldn't care if it meant the Cavs won a title.
I'm not surprised to see you post this, given the latest news out of the Factory of Sadness. . I think I'm still facepalming right now.
Instability aside, I love the move. Everybody in town hated those guys and I think the new GM means a better chance of bringing Ward, Mack and Jackson back next year.

Yeah, I lurked on some Browns sites after I posted that and you seem to be with the consensus. It just seems like the instability hits keep coming and coming--and the whole Pilot Flying J thing is still out there too.

As long as my team is not involved, I'd root hard for any Cleveland team to win it all.
I'd probably like to see the Cavs win it first, beating James in the Eastern Conference Finals and then beating whoever in the Finals. Not that I'm a big fan of that Cavs owner, but still...The Decision. Ouch.

I thought that the 1995 team was gonna steamroll their way through the postseason and plop down right at the front of discussion of the greatest teams of 80s & 90s.
