Jeez, that was intense as fuck. I liked it a lot, the cast is great and Jenkins deserves any kind of nomination. I appreciate how it was translated fro theatre to a more cinematic approach. Im not sure about the last "twist", it was just too much, but the last scene in the house belonged to a cool horror movie.
Great flick.
Did you ever see the stage version?
No, how was it ? I read the movie is way more claustrophobic and a downer.
It was fantastic. One of the best plays of its season. I really loved it. I'm very excited for the film. Glad to know it worked for you.

Yeah I enjoyed the hell out of The Humans, especially that final shot. Amy Schumer was surprisingly good.

Fun concept. Hilariously bad in an enjoyable way. Is John Carpenter a comedic genius?
Man, They Live is a great movie, no qualification needed.
I saw The Lost Daughter last night - or parts of it, anyway. I thought it was unbearably awful and left before the end, while my wife watched the rest. I think I could've enjoyed it more without Olivia Colman in the lead role, but probably not.

Was it supposed to be a Naked Gun style slapstick comedy? I still can't decide.
(and I'm just going to pretend I didn't read your comment about Olivia Coleman.)

What seemed ridiculous to you? Was it the twenty minute, no holds barred wrestling match in the alleyway over making a guy wear sunglasses?

haha, yes. That was a highlight. I definitely laughed when Keith David kneed him in the balls five times.

And they're friends! I wonder how brutal it would be if they were enemies.
