I don’t think there was any chance they were gonna leave Never Destination off the album because of the little Tom Petty tribute verse near the end of it.

Never Destination is much better than this song
I like ND and almost all of Gigaton. Get it Back sounds better and evokes more feeling, despite that damned early fade out.

The whole “less is more” being a hallmark of good writing can be difficult.
if less is more, how you keepin' score?
Jerry Hannan. “Madly in Love with You” is a fun folk style album by the Mad Hannans. If anyone’s interested you can listen here: https://jerryhannan.com/home
Over a year later, this song is still great, should have been on the album. My preferred Gigaton tracklist:
Who Ever Said Superblood Wolf Moon Clairvoyants Escape Alright Get It Back Seven O'Clock Destination Take the Long Way Buckle Up Of The Earth Comes Then Goes
B-sides/leftovers for another Ed solo album: Retrograde River Cross

....yeah, come at me
Replace SBWM with Brother the Cloud (played by PJ, produced by Josh) Replace Never Destination with Get it Back
Retrograde and especially River Cross are among the best songs on Gigaton.
