Topo & bitters is a fun drink. Three dashes orange bitters and a dash of angostura with some fresh lime and you've got a poor man's La Croix on the fly. Infinite possibilities if you're willing to invest in a sizeable bitters collection.

Bookmarking that. Interesting question.

A friend of mine has opened a shop for AF products that he's hoping to turn into a hangout space as it grows. Personally I think the space itself needs a lot of work because it toes an awkward line between retail and living room den, but the idea has a lot of potential. I follow a place in LA on instagram that looks like they're doing it successfully.

had the Athletic Hazy IPA. Delicious. That's 2/2 from Athletic. Will try their stout next time.

That's the one I keep in the fridge most often. I really love the names of each of their beers, btw.

the hazy, or the stout?

That rice lager was delicious too. The ramen place used to carry just that, but as of today they had lost that from their menu, but added the regular IPA, the hazy IPA, and the stout.

Hazy. I didn't care too much for the stout. A little thin. Only thing by them I haven't loved.

Found out over the weekend that this place serves Athletic, but they only have the standard IPA.

Changing this thread title from NA (non-alcoholic) to AF (alcohol-free) was a very strange choice.

Wow. The sam adams AF hazy IPA is god awful. Like carbonated citrus slurry.

I also hated it. Every sip felt like a brick as it hit my stomach. Like others in the thread, the Athletic Hazy is the best I've yet tried.

Yeah, I've yet to find one that matches athletic. Karbach free & easy comes closest.

Haven't really craved beer carbs lately though. Still loving a good ol mineral water with bitters.
