Ok, My City of Ruins is nice but I'm about to go to sleep and I'm really pissed that the full band didn't play The Rising? Hopefully I'm just a dipshit, but that's an absolute no brainer song that the band could crucify the insincere with and what a missed opportunity. Pearl Jam doing The Rising is like Creed doing Alive or something.

They should probably stop playing Betterman for a while. I'm not against most in the canon, but holy cannoli could this one use a break. When you're only looking forward to the potential tag on a song it's time to hit the showers. I'd much rather hear Daughter at this point.

There is no drive to the song anymore. It's a chance to take a song off for the band, and that's unfortunate. Play a Gigaton song with fury, instead.

I would like to start a petition to ban Pearl Jam from playing RITFW anymore. Sure, in the moment, you'll half-ass head bang to it, but in your heart, you know it's right to jettison this shit to the far ends of the galaxy near wherever Hubble took the Binaural cover art.

I'll go to the grave with my Elderly Lady.
To be fair, I don’t care if I hear a new live version of Better Man ever again. Soo… *shrug*

That’s a really solid set. Bit nervous they’re top loading the new songs. They kinda did that with the lightning bolt songs then dropped them didn’t they?
Buzzed to hear they played well though. Would love to hear dotc live.

I love Never Destination almost like I love Leatherman. They’re both so fun and catchy and I fucking love Ed’s melodies playing off the guitars in both songs. Lyrics be damned, I really liked that performance.

Interesting that there was no post-Yield song apart from those from Gigaton. Will the Gigaton songs be gone from a similar setlist after another album has been released?
I’m glad the Gigaton songs were well received. I’m not going to listen to them, though - I want to go into the Encore shows totally fresh. I’ve waited 18 months, I can wait 3 more weeks. No discussion anywhere about Josh Klinghoffer. Wierd. Lol at Ed’s spelling of audible (oddible). Not sure if he’s clever or stupid. It’s been a long time since audibles were listed at the bottom of the set list. That’s probably a good thing.
