I have no idea; I feel like I've heard people say "slammin'" and various equivalents since the early '90's, but I was thinking more of the standard definition of "striking swiftly and forcefully," which despite seeming like an inapt description for a 2-hour album was nevertheless was the most instinctive word I came up with for my reaction to it.

Currently have Graduation on. Hard to believe this album is only 11 years old. Feels like it's been around my entire life, and I'm not even that familiar with Kanye's output.

I think Graduation is closer to 14-15 years old

I really liked Believe What I say, and Jail and Keep My Spirit Alive were both pretty good. Everything else was exactly what I figured it'd be.

I swear I'm not trying to be contrarian, but it boggles my mind that the reaction to this album is so strong.
