The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
That’s never happened to me but I once was pumped that I found Some Girls used, got it home, and discovered in the sleeve was Hot Rocks, which I did already have.
That's some bullshit.
A similar thing happened to a friend of mine. He bought a brand new, shrink wrapped CD. Opened it. But when he played it, it was a completely different album. I'd never seen anything like it.

I am not a vinyl aficionado. I have an entry-level Audio Technica turntable and only about 50 albums in my collection. But today I saw a turntable that I fell completely in love with. It's called a "Pear Audio Blue" and I want it and today I came very close to making an absurdly irresponsible and unjustifiable purchase. But I came to my senses

Ok, that makes sense.
I balked at the newest Nick Cave box set this week; I'm not even sure if there's been a proper U.S. presale yet, but the EU presales make it equal to about $200.
