Received wisdom among (normie) music fans, I guess is a better way of putting it.

'The Repulsion Box' by Sons and Daughters is such an electric and satisfying record.

I've heard Mirror Mirror by them - pretty sure SNC turned me onto it back in the day.

Ima check this out - I have a working theory that Scottish bands are (in general) the best bands.

Super excited to hear your thoughts. I think they're a great band all around. But Repulsion Box is their ace.

I'm also a tad biased though because I saw them live on the Repulsion Box tour. But still... The record holds up. Every time I hear a song from that album I stop what I'm doing and listen.

Really enjoyed this. The album actually reminded me quite a bit of one of my personal favourite Oz bands from back in the day - Weddings Parties Anything - who also do their own take on somewhat folky rock with driving guitars and often geared for a big loud sing-along.

Nice start to the day this.

I don’t know how popular the song “Honeybee” by The Head and The Heart is, but however popular it is, it should be more popular. It’s a great song.

Not gonna lie - very much helps to be Australian. Or Canadian - those guys seem to love them too.

I listened to Difficult Loves. It was the first thing that came up in a Spotify search. I really liked it. They remind me a lot of early REM, in a good way.

I’ve caught bits and pieces of this whole Britney Spears conservatorship thing with their dad, and at a glance it’s like “leave them alone, it’s their money.”

But the second they get control of their social media pages back, the first thing they do is post a topless pic squishing their tits together. Yeah, they’re fkn psycho. Makes sense now.

***There has got to be a better thread for this, if so please move.

Watched the first episode of Physical last night and I liked the song in the closing credits. Turns out it was A Flock Of Seagulls song. I only remember the song I Ran and the goofy hairstyles. Listened to their first three albums and they were pretty good. Who knew?

And the world's luckiest coin operated horsie ride.

For reals though, love that song. Never listened to anything else by them though (except 'I Ran' of course).
