Life & Limb is jacking in to the same interplay energy as some early 90s SY, for example.

As for why track X / Y / Z made it or didn't make it...well, I did the best with what I had.

Seeing as its Xmas would anyone be kind enough to repost this compilation?

This seems awesome, can anybody please share it or tell me wher can I finde this?

Thank you

I agree with his post.
At the same time, i understand and agree with Trag. There are many of this political and historic feuds that kinda belong to the people in the respective country. This seems to be one of them, specially because it really touches a lot of nerves.

====================================
Feel free to make artwork, distribute how you see fit, make mp3s for personal use, etc. Just don't sell it and always give people the option of lossless.

As for why track X / Y / Z made it or didn't make it...well, I did the best with what I had.

Seeing as its Xmas would anyone be kind enough to repost this compilation?

This seems awesome, can anybody please share it or tell me wher can I finde this?

Thank you

It's on archive.org: https://archive.org/details/SY_Death

There's a lot of stuff on archive.org if you know where to look.

Feeling rainy and claustrophobic today so I put on SYR 2 (Slaapkamers Met Slagroom). I hype the SYR stuff fairly often in this thread, and the title track here is largely why.

The piece takes a little but to ramp up, but in the buildup to the meat of the improv is a rough take of Ineffable Me and some nice, raw guitar tones.

Once Steve breaks it all wide open around the 7:00 minute mark, it's something else entirely. A very good showcase of how this band could veer into free jazz territory for a while there in the late 90s.

Yeah, that song is so good. Im listening the second track of SY2 and its just the perfect balance between noise and tightness...it lacks Steve Shelley tough.

Shelley is an absolute monster on that track I shared. His drumming style ties all the noise together in a jazzy way.

Kim is perfect on track 3.

I think SYR 1 is the most immediate and the one I'd recommend to people most, but I really think SYR 2 is required listening especially for A Thousand Leaves fans. It would work well in a deluxe edition package of ATL as a disc of outtakes. I'd love to hear even more from those sessions.
