The way he just belts out some of those notes. In a few years it'll reach the point where it almost starts to border on self-parody, but it's so good here.

I'm less impressed by Animal than many around here, I think, but it's an easy vote here.

This should be a landslide win for Animal.

As someone who stans In The Moonlight to an absurd degree, someone who desperately wants to see Moonlight in the Final Four, I can't in good conscience vote for it here.

Animal is just better.

Scratch that. Just watched that video.

Geezes. Remember when ed would just hover over the mic and deliver a performance like that? The kind that drags you off your couch and throws you through the fucking wall?

Geezes.

Its shit like that that where pearl jam has earned the right to do whatever the fuck they want.

I can. No hesitation at all.

"Animal" is tremendous, but in the end this just isn't the side of the band that's kept me coming back for all these years. It's probably not even in my top 50 honestly. Which isn't meant to be a slight against it -- there's just a lot of other Pearl Jam music that's more closely aligned with my tastes.

Easy vote for "Moonlight."
