Rumor: GTA: PS2 Trilogy Remaster is exciting to me! I didn't beat any of those 3 games. I never played 3. I was close to the end in Vice and got stuck in that mission against that super car. I was still living at home and was too embarrassed to play San Andreas - N word this and N word that. It was the only time I ever quit a game over embarrassment.
Whoa, where is this rumor coming from? I loved 3 back in the day.

I just replayed San Andreas last year. It's one of my all time favs and still holds up IMO. Would love to see a proper remaster of that one

I feel like I still can't justify a PS5. I don't know of a single upcoming game that I have a stronger desire to play than something that I still have left to play on the Ps4. I am basically aiming for the mid-generation upgrade in 2025 or so, hoping it's timed with the the next Elder Scrolls game (if that even come out on Ps5).

If it didn't have backwards compatibility it wouldn't be a great buy right now. The launch games were great, but it's been pretty barren since then.

Yeah, I'd also feel it weren't worth it if I didn't have PS4 games like Ghost of Tsushima and Spiderman to experience for the first time at 60 fps and ultra fast loading times, not to mention the PS5's gorgeous Demon Souls and pretty good Miles Morales. And revisiting Sekiro is like a whole new game at 60 fps. Plus the controller feels like quite an upgrade. I've been getting the most out of my PS5 for the past few months and can't really imagine going back to a PS4 after getting used to this. Also, a big selling point to me was getting the most out of PS4 trade-in value. If I'm going to be playing all these games, might as well be on PS5.

I've done nothing but play PS4 games since mid December, some of the upgrades (thinking Tsushima and Control) are great. Can't wait to hear if Last of Us 2 or RDR2 will get proper PS5 upgrades. All that said, I still feel fortunate to have snagged a PS5 on launch day. Worth every penny.
Speaking of, there's a new PS State of Play airing tomorrow at 5pm ET. Hoping we get some new PS5 game news at that time because, I agree, PS5 games news and releases have been nearly non existent since launch

It's sort of amazing both consoles could launch last year given the circumstances.
My predictions for tomorrow's State of Play: - Returnal gameplay - Deathloop gameplay - Horizon gameplay - Reminder of Ratchet and Clank Release Date - Sizzle real of indie/3rd party games coming in 2021 - Brand New Exclusive Reveal (Last of Us Factions?)

Solid predictions for sure; I'm def holding out hope for some kind of PS5 upgrade/exclusives like Factions or 4K support for TLOU2. I have my hopes up the most for a long awaited update on Horizon. Can pretty much guarantee GoW will get pushed to 22 but I doubt they will mention that tomorrow. I think Gran Turismo 7 has been delayed but wouldn't be surprised if they shared more on that one, too. We'll probably get a new RE8 trailer and/or gameplay, too.
It seems like a lot of 2021 games are getting pushed to 2022, so I will be surprised if they announce concrete release dates for anything coming in late 2021.
Finally a release date for Disco Elysium on PS4/PS5--coming March 30th.
And it’s a “directors cut” edition with new content
Should get my stimmy right around then too.
Considering getting this. Knew the title, but didn't really give it much of a thought before these reviews hit. The thought of a laid back, text heavy game seems like it would hit the spot right now.

It's only $32 at the moment if you have PS+. I'm playing this next!
