not sure about this new one yet. I fully got into mogwai with Hardcore.. and since then, all their albums have been very enjoyable (maybe rave tapes being the least so). They feel like they have a theme or a common thread thru them with memorable standouts (usually several) on each record. This new one also has an overall feel but I dont hear any stand outs yet. It also feels like they weren't in the same room when they got together and has some missing energy to it. dunno, its hard to describe.
